During the ultrasound, the technician believes that she saw an echogenic foci spot on Rilynn's heart. The doctor does not seem at all concerned and really feels that it is either a calcium deposit that will resolve itself before birth or just a shadow that is absolutely nothing. Either way, I am going to a perinatologist on Tuesday for another ultrasound to ensure that everything is okay. Unfortunately Matt will be out of town for work and absolutely cannot change his schedule (next week is the implementation of the project that he has been working on for the past 3 1/2 years). Instead mom is flying up to go to the doctor with me; I am very happy that I don't have to go alone. I will be sure to update the blog next week with the results. In the meantime, although we believe everything is fine, please keep Rilynn in your thoughts and prayers.
Last, for those of you that have been asking, here are a few more preggo pictures of me. The image on the left is from 34 weeks and on the right is 35 weeks. There isn't much of a difference, but you can see the "turkey timer" starting to poke out. :)
Be sure to check back next week for an update on Rilynn and pictures of her nursery! And Happy Birthday Mom/Gammy, we love you!
