Rilynn Burrito!

We also had the opportunity to get together with some long time friends of the McKillops while we were in town. On Saturday night Pappy, GG, Uncle Jeff, Aunt Kris, mommy, daddy & Rilynn met the Calloways (Bill, Lois, Brian, Tiffany, Brady & Kris) for dinner at Dolce and bowling at Ten Pin Alley (two of the restaurants where Kris is the Executive Chef). The McKillops have been friends with the Calloways since Matt was a toddler and they have kept in touch over the years. Back in late February 2008, Bill called John to announce that he was going to be a grandfather and John was able to share the exciting news that he too was going to be a grandfather. Tiffany (Brian's wife) was due 3 weeks after me; however, we went into labor on the same day. Rilynn and Brady ended up being born just 8 minutes apart, although their birth certificates say otherwise. Rilynn was born at 12:06am CST while Brady was born at 1:14am EST.

The day after Christmas we headed back up to Powder Springs for Papa's birthday and a weekend at Gammy & Papa's. While there, Gammy held a "Sip & Show" gathering so anyone who wanted to could come by and see Rilynn. Here are a few pictures from the day.

Rilynn's First Christmas!

Christmas brought so many wonderful things for Rilynn, from family and friends to gifts and memories. On Christmas Eve, we went to the Baxter family Christmas where Rilynn got to see all of mommy's family. Here is a picture of Rilynn on Christmas Eve with mommy and daddy.

After the Baxter Family Christmas, Rilynn, mommy & daddy all spent the night at the Buice house with Aunt K, Uncle Lem, Gammy, Papa, and cousins Gabbie & Coen. We all woke up around 7am on Christmas morning to see what Santa had brought Rilynn, Gabbie & Coen. Here are a few pictures from Christmas morning.

After opening gifts and eating breakfast, mommy, daddy & Rilynn headed down to Peachtree City for Christmas with the McKillops. Here are a few pictures from Christmas day.

After an exhausting day, Rilynn spent Christmas dinner fast asleep in her bouncy seat!

Rilynn's first Christmas tree! This is a picture of the Christmas tree that is in Rilynn's room in St Louis. It is decorated in pink and green with Precious Moments ornaments. The ornaments were gifts to mommy from Gammy & Papa over the years. I loved looking at the lights!

Back to Atlanta...

On Rilynn's 3 month birthday we headed back Atlanta by way of Tupelo again. Rilynn did very well in the car, sleeping all the way to Memphis (4 hours) and sat quietly in her seat after her belly was full. Here is a picture of Rilynn with her Mamaw (great-grandmother - Gail's mom) in Saltillo, MS.

By the way, I am not sure what is on the TV in the background but I can assure you that we were paying attention to Rilynn, not the TV!!!
