Happy Halloween and Happy Thanksgiving...both a little late :)

Here are some pictures of Rilynn during Halloween (13 months) and Thanksgiving (14 months)...enjoy!

Halloween at Ms. Ria's (her babysitter's) on Friday, October 31st

Out and about in the neighborhood on Halloween night - of course she was a Georgia Tech cheerleader since the Jackets played Vanderbuilt that night!

Matt, Rilynn, Laidan & I drove to Atlanta for the Thanksgiving holiday. On Thursday morning we first went to my family's Thanksgiving celebration at my cousin Rhonda's house in Cumming, GA. Later that day we drove to Peachtree City, GA to have Thanksgiving dinner with Matt's family. Also over Thanksgiving, Rilynn started to really tell us what she does and does not want. Her new favorite word is "guk", which she says in a very high pitched voice. Of course I don't expect anyone to know what that word is, and I didn't either at first, until she started doing her sign language as well...milk, she wanted her milk! Now she says "guk" and does her sign non-stop, she loves her "guk"!

Baxter Family Thanksgiving - I have quite a large family, and this isn't even everyone! We are a very close family and love spending the holidays together...strange to some, but we love it!!!

Gammy & Rilynn

Rilynn checking on Gabbie - Gabbie had her tonsils removed the Monday before Thanksgiving; she had a tough time but is doing well!

play time - of course after a change of clothes (she got a little messy during her meal!) and with no bow in her hair (which she hates)...she looks way too grown up! What is happening to my little baby girl?

Georgia Tech Football

I am long over due for a post so I thought what better way to get back into it then to talk about a few of my favorite things...Rilynn, friends, family & GT football! This fall, Matt, Rilynn & I were able to make it to quite a few Georgia Tech football games (and of course hope to make it to one more!).

After spending 3 weeks in Atlanta and catching the Jacksonville State, Clemson & UNC games, we decided it was time for a trip to a different stadium. Matt's maternal grandparents as well as aunts, uncles & cousins live in Saltillo, MS (a suburb of Tupelo) and are all Mississippi State fans so we made our way down for a visit.

Back to Atlanta for Georgia Tech's Homecoming...

Out for a walk with mommy, daddy, pappy & gg before heading up to campus

Rilynn is a big walker now - she took her first step 2 weeks before her first birthday and started really walking all over the place at the end of September.

with 12 teeth (at the time, now she has 14!), she chews on EVERYTHING!

Our most recent game was back in Atlanta, and although the outcome was not ideal, it was great to see so many of our friends. Since it was such a late game, Rilynn stayed in Peachtree City with her pappy & gg while mommy, daddy, gammy & papa went to the game.

Although we will not make it to Tampa this weekend for the ACC Championship game, Matt & I will cheer on the Jackets from San Diego while Rilynn & her grandparents watch the game in Atlanta. This will be the first time that we have left her overnight (without one of us home), but we know that she is in good hands! We hope that our next trip for a Tech game is to Miami in January for the Orange Bowl! One thing I do know is that it will not take that long for me to publish another post. I will try my best to post Halloween & Thanksgiving pictures by next week (just for you Uncle Jeff - we all miss you and hope to see you soon!).

Happy 1st Birthday Rilynn!

Saturday, September 19th was Rilynn's 1st birthday. We had pictures taken that morning at Portrait Innovations before having her monkey themed party at Monkey Joe's in Kennesaw. I will post the pictures from Portrait Innovations on this weekend, but here are the pictures from her party - as you can see, she had a great time!
